Volunteers are at the heart of the organization whether on-site assisting in the various departments or from home, church or work helping us to tell our story while assisting us in raising friends, funds and on-site volunteers. All are welcome and treasured!
Well-qualified staff members and volunteers work side by side to create an environment committed to changing lives. Volunteering your time at Marillac not only provides our children, families and clients with the extra support they need for success, but also gives you an opportunity to learn from your experiences for personal growth.
Volunteer Opportunities Please come and see where your gifts and our needs are a perfect match!
· Tutor (M – Th. 2:30 – 5:00) · Mentor · Help with light filing, data entry and administrative tasks · Help with activities: art projects, sports, games, community service projects · Donate and/or collect toiletries items for teen moms and their babies · GED tutoring · Engage your school, church or business in planning an activity, service, field trip, entertainment or fund drive · Organize a group to work at the Chicago Greater Food Depository in Marillac’s name – the points you earn for us will help us to continue to provide food for those in need
